Merry Christmas....

Retailers can really screw up
by Craig Bachler

I recently read that a major retailer published in a catalog that their inventory of "Family Tree and Family Decorations" are on sale. Did Hallmark invent a new holiday called "Family Day"? Oh, it is politically correct to now call Christmas, "Family Day". Wow want to talk about a loaded statement.
Next, we will be changing all the songs of Christmas to Family....

The Twelve Days of Family,

Silver Bells....It's Family Time in the City........

I'm Dreaming of a White Family...

Remember Walmart several years ago fell flat on their faces when they told their sale people, wish people a happy holiday season instead of Christmas, that lasted only one season. Do you think this major retailer will change their policy next year?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Florida School District Money Woes....

Manatee County about to cut services for children.
by Craig Bachler

It was reported several weeks ago, on Nov 17,2007 that the Manatee County School District was about to pull the plug on the LLI Program. For those of you unfamiliar with this program, it is an intensive approach to assist children with language issues (no, not bad words).

This program has demonstrated success including my child. The real reason wasn't stated as to why the program is being eliminated. According to Jeffery Schneidleman ( sorry Dr. Schneidleman) the program is outdated and children are better off being "mainstreamed". Guess what, this is a bunch of horse crap. It is all about money.

Our beloved Superintendent Roger Dearing ( sorry, another Dr.) doesn't even have a plan on how these loss services will be made up. Under the requirements IDEA, the district must have the services in place, thus is the district breaking the law or just perhaps bending it.

Maybe Dearing should get rid of all the overpaid administrators, the savings would be huge and the money can go to education. When there is a 2 to 1 ratio of administrators to teachers, there is a problem. Under Dearing, our budget has exploded because of hiring more of his friends into positions that are not needed.

Before we get rid of services, maybe we should get rid of our Superintendent and hire a person that is focused on children and not his political buddies.

I told you so......

Iowa, N.H. Eye New Caucus, Primary Dates
by Craig Bachler

story compliments of My way....

By MIKE GLOVER

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Iowans could still be humming Auld Lang Syne as they gather to choose among presidential candidates, thanks to decisions by other states to move up their election dates.
Party leaders in Iowa are edging toward holding the state's leadoff caucuses as early as Jan. 3, although they'll hold off on a decision until New Hampshire selects a date for the nation's first primary.
"There are only a couple of days that work, and we don't want to go into December," said Iowa GOP head Chuck Laudner, who mentioned Jan. 3, 4 and 5 as dates being considered.
Iowa and New Hampshire have made clear they won't stand pat as states such as Michigan and Florida move up their election dates, but don't expect a decision soon. New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner has the sole power to schedule his state's primary, and he's not talking.
"I'm not any closer," Gardner said Thursday. "I can't (pick a date) at the moment because I don't know."
Iowa and New Hampshire party officials have been hearing that line for months.
"Tightly lipped, isn't he?" noted Fergus Cullen, New Hampshire's Republican chairman.
Party officials in the two states have frequently discussed election scenarios, and most think Gardner will opt for Jan. 8 as long as Iowa doesn't move to mid-December. That would give New Hampshire a week of breathing room before Michigan, one of several states that have ignored demands by both national parties that they not schedule contests before Feb. 5.
But some in New Hampshire speculate that Gardner could move the primary into December - perhaps Dec. 18 - to ensure plenty of time before the contests to follow. Iowa is committed to being first, but officials clearly shudder at the thought of a December caucus. As Iowa Gov. Chet Culver put it, "In this state, we're still going to have Christmas."
In a sign that the New Hampshire primary date is certain to move up, Gardner said Friday he was moving up the filing period for candidates three weeks, to Oct. 15. Candidates will be able to file to be on the ballot through Nov. 2.
"It would allow the date of the primary to be earlier," he said, while adding he's made no decision about setting the date.
For now, Iowa's caucus date remains Jan. 14, eight days before the date when national Democrats want New Hampshire to hold its primary. But it is all-but-certain that the preferred calendar is wishful thinking.
The longer Gardner delays his decision, the less likely that other states would leapfrog in front of New Hampshire. But the uncertainty is creating headaches in Iowa, where the parties must arrange the caucuses, find spots to hold neighborhood meetings in each of the state's 1,784 precincts, and get the word out to activists.
Iowa Democratic Party spokeswoman Carrie Giddins said the wait is frustrating, but the parties will make do.
"No matter when that date is chosen, we will run very serious, very correct caucuses," Giddens said.
In his 31 years as New Hampshire's secretary of state, Gardner has waited as late as December before selecting a primary date. But New Hampshire state Rep. Jim Splaine, who has worked with Gardner on primary issues since 1980, said he expects an announcement in November.
Analyst Jennifer Donahue at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., said she's sure Gardner is talking with Iowa officials about a date that could work for both states.
"Iowa isn't trying to make it harder for us," Donahue said. "If anything, they're trying to make it easier for us. They always have."
Although Iowa law requires the caucuses to be held "at least eight days earlier" than any other contest, the rule has been ignored in past elections.
In 1988, Michigan held a delegate selection process before Iowa, but it got little attention. Later, Alaska held an earlier contest as well.
Brad Anderson, a spokesman for Culver, said the governor is willing to call a quick special legislative session if needed to change that law, but few think that's necessary.
David Nagle, a former Iowa Democratic Party chairman who largely established the current calendar in 1984, argues it's a matter of being adamant about the state's place in the process, even while holding delicate talks with New Hampshire.
As Nagle put it in a memo to party leaders, "If New Hampshire chooses to move in front of us, then we will move again. New Hampshire must understand that if they go in July, we will go in June."

Associated Press writers Philip Elliott and Norma Love in Concord, N.H., contributed to this report.

Here is my take,

I made it clear to all 115 members if the Florida Legislature that moving the primary was a bad idea.

Congress Denounces Iranian President

I have a solution.....
by Craig Bachler

from the AP again,

WASHINGTON (AP) - Congress signaled its disapproval of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with a vote Tuesday to tighten sanctions against his government and a call to designate his Revolutionary Guard a terrorist group.
The swift rebuke was a rare display of bipartisan cooperation in a Congress bitterly divided on the Iraq war. It reflected lawmakers' long-standing nervousness about Tehran's intentions in the region, particularly toward Israel—a sentiment fueled by the pro-Israeli lobby whose influence reaches across party lines in Congress.
"Iran faces a choice between a very big carrot and a very sharp stick," said Rep. Tom Lantos, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. "It is my hope that they will take the carrot. But today, we are putting the stick in place."
The House passed, by a 397-16 vote, a proposal by Lantos, D-Calif., aimed at blocking foreign investment in Iran, in particular its lucrative energy sector. The bill would specifically bar the president from waiving U.S. sanctions.
Current law imposes sanctions against any foreign company that invests $20 million or more in Iran's energy industry, although the U.S. has waived or ignored sanction laws in exchange for European support on nonproliferation issues.
In the Senate, Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., and Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., proposed a nonbinding resolution urging the State Department to label Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization.
Kyl and Lieberman said the proposal does not authorize military force again Iran, but encourages the U.S. to cut off its financial support.
The Bush administration had already been considering whether to blacklist a unit within the Revolutionary Guard, subjecting part of the vast military operation to financial sanctions.
The legislative push came a day after Ahmadinejad defended Holocaust revisionists, questioned who carried out the Sept. 11 attacks and declared homosexuals didn't exist in Iran in a tense question-and- answer session at Columbia University.
The Iranian president was to speak Tuesday at the U.N. General Assembly.
Lantos' bill was expected to draw criticism from U.S. allies in Europe. During a visit to Washington last week, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner told lawmakers that France opposes any U.S. legislation that would target European countries operating in Iran. He argued that such sanctions could undermine cooperation on dealing with Iran.

My solution,
show them what a nuke can do, flatten Iran!

Columbia University promoting hate!

Columbia Won't Cancel Ahmadinejad Speech
by Craig Bachler

Story by AP

NEW YORK (AP) - Columbia University said it does not plan to call off a speech by Iran's president despite pressure from critics including the City Council speaker, who said the Ivy League school was providing a forum for "hate-mongering vitriol."
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is traveling to New York to address the United Nations' General Assembly. He was to appear Monday at a question-and- answer session with Columbia faculty and students as part of the school's World Leaders Forum.
The State Department calls Iran a state sponsor of terror, and Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust "a myth" and urged for Israel to be destroyed.
City Council speaker Christine Quinn called Thursday for the university to rescind the invitation, saying "the idea of Ahmadinejad as an honored guest anywhere in our city is offensive to all New Yorkers."
Quinn, a Democrat, said Ahmadinejad was coming to the city "for one reason—to spread his hate-mongering vitriol on the world stage."
His planned appearance at Columbia also was condemned by Jewish groups including the Jewish Defense Organization, which described Ahmadinejad as "the Hitler of Iran."
Columbia spokesman Robert Hornsby said Thursday there was no plan to cancel the appearance, though the university dropped plans for an Ahmadinejad speech last year because of security and logistical problems. The decision came after a Jewish activist group expressed outrage over the invitation.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Friday that the university was free to invite Ahmadinejad to speak, but "personally, I wouldn't go to listen to him—I don't care about what he says."
White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto said Friday that the Bush administration had no involvement with Columbia's decision.
"This is a country where people can come and speak their minds," he said, adding, "It would be wonderful if some of the countries that take advantage of that here allowed it for their own citizens there."
Columbia President Lee Bollinger, in announcing Ahmadinejad's upcoming appearance, described the event as part of "Columbia's long-standing tradition of serving as a major forum for robust debate." He said the Iranian president had agreed to answer questions on Israel and the Holocaust.
Ahmadinejad's trip to New York also ignited a debate this week over his rejected request to lay a wreath at ground zero. Politicians and families of Sept. 11 victims were outraged that Iran's president might visit the site.
Police rejected Ahmadinejad's request, citing construction and security concerns. In an interview scheduled to air Sunday on CBS' "60 Minutes," Ahmadinejad indicated he would not press the issue but expressed disbelief that the visit would offend Americans.
___

Here is my take on this,
Parents, pull the plug on sending in your tuition payments to this poor excuse of a school until they tell this monger of hate to take a hike!
Boycott the event, it is one thing to be an open and free thinker, but this piece of crap is opposed to free thinking.
If my tax dollars are going to this school in the for of student funding, I want it stoppede!
Stop all FAFSA loans, grants and any monies generated from the American taxpayer.

End of Summer means my new home owners insurance policy.......
by Craig Bachler

Yes, you read it right, I'm talking about my homeowners policy. Well, if you lived in Florida, you would understand. After our glorious governor and members of the legislative body had a special meeting to lower our rates, Floridians expected decreases from 10 to 40%.
My rate has doubled over the past three years with no claims ever in my life, hurricane fortified house and paying my bills on time.
Well, my insurer, Universal Property of Florida did things differently, my rates went up $700.00 a year! I am now paying $3100 per year, up from the $2400 last year.
Nothing like taking the boots to the public.
Thank you Charlie Crist, thank you Florida Legislature and a special thanks to Universal Property of Florida for nothing....

Don Imus and CBS Radio get served over comments

Talk about horse poop.....
by Craig Bachler

The story....

Don Imus and CBS Radio, who have been on the outs since Imus' racially charged on-air statement about the Rutgers women's basketball team and his consequent firing, were "served" (a double-entendre here) by former team center Kia Vaughn when she filed a lawsuit against them -- the same day Imus and CBS reached a reported $20 million settlement.A humble pie and legal summons slam dunk -- gotta love it.Filed in New York State Supreme Court in Brooklyn, the lawsuit, which doesn't list a dollar amount, alleges that Imus and CBS -- plus Imus' former producer/co-host Bernard McGuirk, MSNBC and other media outlets that aired the show -- are legally responsible for damages to Vaughn's character and reputation.Vaughn's attorney, Richard Ancowitz, said, "This is about Kia Vaughn's good name."Vaughn and her Scarlet Knight teammates originally accepted Imus' apology but then appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," saying his statement eclipsed their momentous season. But it didn't. Their season was and always will be meritorious.Ancowitz stated also that Vaughn "would do anything to return to her life as a student and respected basketball player -- a more simple life before Imus opened his mouth on April 4."Girlfriend, there's no going back! With the lawsuit parry, the very media storm Vaughn purportedly seeks to avoid will spin into a more convoluted state that will seek her out.The only conclusion is that she doesn't seek a "more simple life"; the wording should say that she seeks "The Simple Life," that of the television program where two mega-rich airheads attempted to live in everyday situations (emphasis on the "mega-rich" part).Imus' comment was vulgar and unnecessary; Vaughn's lawsuit is based on contemporary backward thinking: Let's build me into a "public figure" through a perceived injustice (since one must have a recognizable persona before it can be defamed), then sue the people I think perpetrated said injustice. As for Imus, the ever-controversial shock host is contract-free and may work (or not) wherever he pleases, albeit with a non-disparagement clause -- where neither party may "trash talk" the other. (Darn!)WABC Radio's general manager, Steve Borneman, refuted rumors that Imus would return to WABC when he denied speaking with him, saying to The Associated Press, "I wish Mr. Imus well, but we are happy with our morning show (hosted by Curtis Sliwa and Ron Kuby)."

This idiot wants to return to a normal life as a student??????
I had no clue as to who she was during this make believe left propaganda stunt.
I'll never forget her name again because of her get rich quick stunt.

Summer thoughts

We are half way through Summer, how is yours?
by Craig Bachler

I have been taking some time off from the blog to better enjoy the 90 plus temps here in Florida. Also, our rocket scientist in D.C. haven't done anything substantial to talk about.

I listen occasionally to a local wacko communist on AM here in Manatee County Florida. His message has been about President Bush's low approval rating and stop the war and everything else that his brokered broadcast needs to fill two hours of air every morning.

My question, why doesn't he talk about Pelosi and her friends having the lowest public opinion numbers ever in the history of America and how fast the Democrats in Congress established this record? Oh yes, that would be a second record from this Democratic lead Congress.

Then there is Mel the sell out Martinez. He wants every illegal to be given a bonus for breaking our laws. Send a message, do not contribute to the RNC until Mel steps down! Maybe the leadership of the RNC will better understand that Mel doesn't represent Americans, he only represents criminals.

Until next time I need to vent..........

Fairness Doctrine, more wining from the left.

Yep, the Dems lost "Scare America" after it went bankrupt, now they are pulling out all the punches.
by Craig Bachler
Fairness Doctrine Watch: Pence on the House floor…amendment accepted…Rep. Obey derides talk radio and “yap-yap TV;” “Let right-wing talk radio go on just as it is now. Rush and Sean are just about as important in the scheme of things as Paris Hilton.” Update: Amendment passes!

PENCE AMENDMENT PASSES HOUSE 309-115
Prohibits FCC From Reviving Fairness Doctrine
WASHINGTON, DC- U.S. Congressman Mike Pence issued the following statement today after the Pence-Hensarling-Flake Amendment passed the House of Representatives. The amendment to the Financial Services Appropriations bill prohibits funds from being used by the Federal Communications Commission to impose the Fairness Doctrine on broadcasters. The amendment passed 309-115.

Pence’s remarks on the victory are below:

“Today the House of Representatives affirmed that freedom will continue to reign on the airwaves of America. Thanks to the support of 308 of my colleagues, Congress has ensured that the Fairness Doctrine will remain in the grave for now. This was a resounding victory for free speech.
“However, the fight for freedom on the American airwaves is not over. With many still hoping to resurrect this archaic doctrine of unfairness, we must continue to stay on the offense. Tonight I will introduce the ‘Broadcaster Freedom Act’ to ensure that the victory we experienced on the House floor today extends to future generations.
“I thank all my colleagues, especially the Republican leadership in the House for delivering this resounding victory for the freedom of speech.”

Strike up the band!

Two big victories in one day, a first for Washington......

Have a great Fourth of July, stay safe and God Bless....

1 for the American People!

We WON!!!!!!!!
by Craig Bachler

The American people took to action and told the Senate what they wanted and the voters won.
Now it is time to pass out the crying towels to all the open borders crowd including Fat Boy Kennedy, Mel the sell out Martinez and soon to be off the presidential trail, John McCain. Good night and good riddance.
Lets send the illegals home next!

Time to clean house!

Senate more interested in special interest that America.
by Craig Bachler

America faces a major challenge but one major one, how to get rid of the dirt in the U. S. Senate.
Our members of the Senate are going against the wishes of the voters and want to push down our throats a immigration bill that we do not want.
It is amazing, Paris Hilton is released from jail after only three days and place under house arrest. Great message to send to our kids, break the law and if mom and dad pay off the right person, she gets out of jail.
We are getting invaded from Mexico, this being a violation of Federal law. So, how can these morons screw this up, they want to give the invaders social security, free education and look the other way about violating American law.
We need to speak up!
America needs to get rid of McCain, Kennedy and Martinez from the U.S. Senate!!!!
Call the RNC, demand Martinez be forced to leave this leadership position, call the offices of the open border crowd and demand they resign from their elected position.
We need to do this now, call them, keep up the pressure and take out the trash.

Martinez: Immigration bill could save GOP

He is full of the brown stuff!
by Craig Bachler

Here is the link to the story

http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/blogs/politicalticker/2007/05/martinez-immigration-bill-could-save.html

Here is my take,
This jerk is a puppet to Bush. Bush needs something big to make his legacy and this is it, no matter how wrong it is. Martinez was pushed into this position so that Bush had a Spanish speaking puppet on a leash.
Can you say "idiot". Time to dump the open borders crowd and put Americans into power that care about this great country.

Senate about to sell out American public ( us the tax payers)

Why the Senate Immigration Bill is a failure…
by Craig Bachler

I cannot believe that our elected leaders are going against the wishes of their constituents on allowing amnesty for the illegal invaders. Remember, they broke the law and are now being rewarded with amnesty. Here are just a few of my reasons out of over 100 or so why this is bad for America

1.The Senate Bill Would Make It Impossible To Deport Most Illegal Aliens For Years. (How can they pick the oranges in Florida if they are in Mexico?0.

2.Consultations Between United States And Mexican Authorities At The Federal, State, And Local Levels Are Required Before A Fence Can Be Built. More government stalling tactics ahead).

3.Police Can't Arrest Illegal’s Just for Being Illegal’s. (I say just shoot them).

4.The Senate Bill Puts Amnesty Ahead Of Security. (The stupid’s in the Senate forgot about the illegal’s that took down the World Trade Centers).

5.The No-Sharing For National Security Purposes Clause

6.Amnesty for Illegal’s, Of Any Sort, Just Encourages More People to Break Our Laws. (Hell lets invade Mexico, maybe the illegals will stay there instead).

7.Why Should Criminals Be Allowed To Become American Citizens? (Break law, get bonus).

8.Guest Workers Will Be Eligible For Citizenship. (Buy one, get one free).

9.Union Wages for Guest Workers? (I’m anti union, but where the hell is the AFL-CIO, they have members that will loose money because of these criminals).

10.Cheaper College for Illegal’s Than Americans? (I pay full price, but break the law and enter the US illegally, get a PhD cheap).

11.Weak Assimilation/English Requirements. (My grandparents learned how to speak English and waved the American flag).

12Who will foot the medical bills because they will lack health insurance from the employers they provide cheap labor to? (This is an easy one).

The list goes on. Keep the phones ringing and keep the pressure on, call your favorite talk show, vent, let Martinez and Kennedy know they must go to Mexico with their criminal friends from South of the Border.

Democrats committing acts of violence against Republicans

I knew they were a bit wacked, look at their leaders, Pelosi and Dean????
by Craig Bachler

We all know about their attempts at keeping killing of the unborn legal and how Rev Al not so Sharpton is a racist, but this one takes the cake. Read the below story from the AP.

By KEN RITTER, Associated Press Writer Tue Apr 24, 9:42 PM ET
LAS VEGAS - "A man accused of threatening a Nevada Republican Party official with a rifle was arrested Tuesday in a vehicle in which police found swords, knives, a shotgun, shells and a flare gun, authorities said.

Matthew Hunter Kramer, 31, did not resist officers who arrested him on a warrant issued after the April 3 confrontation at state Republican Party offices in Las Vegas. It wasn't clear why he was not arrested earlier.
Zachary Moyle, executive director of the state GOP, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Kramer invited him to look at something in the trunk of his Mercedes before pulling out a rifle, pointing it at his face and warning that he would be back if
President Bush' vetoed an emergency war spending bill being considered by Congress.
Bush and Democratic leaders are locked in a dispute over the president's pledge to veto legislation if it sets a timetable on the
Iraq war.
Kramer also removed photos of Bush and Vice President
Dick Cheney from the wall of the office and threatened to harm staff members, Moyle said. Kramer left his cell phone number with office staff before leaving, police said.
He is charged with criminal syndicalism, assault with a deadly weapon and aiming a firearm at a person, police Officer Martin Wright said.
Criminal syndicalism makes it a crime to advocate sabotage, violence or terrorism to accomplish industrial or political reform, said Ron Bloxham, a Clark County prosecutor. It carries a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
It wasn't known Tuesday evening whether Kramer had a lawyer".

Imus os now gone, time to send a message

The I-Man is off the air, what about his former advertisers?
by Craig Bachler

I wasn't a big fan of Imus, but him on the radio didn't affect me either. Unlike some radios, I have more than one station to choose from. But apparently, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson don't know that.
So, why was Imus pulled? Because several girls from a sports team claimed they were insulted? I can almost guarantee that if you listen to there IPODs you will find music that will make your hair stand. I will bet a weeks salary that they listen to the crap rap that is responsible for all the racial divide in this nation.

Here is a call to action, boycott all of the advertisers that pulled out of Imus's show. That's right, GM, GMAC (aka DiTec), American Express, etc. Let Jesse the producer of bastard child Jackson and Al not the sharpest Sharpton send their people to these advertisers. Lets see how long before they beg for forgiveness to those that were offended by their racist action.

The racial divide is not being caused by white vs black, it is being caused by the actions of the above "black leaders" and groups such as the black panthers. Time to send a message, we are all Americans, lets act that way.

Don Imus show loses more advertisers

Double standards are acceptable if your a rapper with trash talking mouth or Al not so Sharpton
by Craig Bachler

With all the talking heads on the radio talking about Imus and his potty mouth, I cannot find anything good on the radio now.
I was never a big fan of his over the top attitude, but he broke no laws, didn't force anyone to listen to his show or mentioned any individual names. Yet, Jesse love child Jackson and Al the racist Sharpton are on this faster than their old ladies.
Now Imus is loosing sponsors and faces being cancelled. Read this little bit about Sharpton from one of my listeners...

"Here is the real Al Sharpton in action. In 1995, he led his National Action Network in an ugly boycott against Freddy’s Fashion Mart, a Jewish-owned business that had its rent raised by its black landlord. Freddy’s in turn raised the rent on one of its subtenants, a black-owned music store. Published transcripts of Sharpton’s incendiary radio broadcasts about the Freddy’s boycott were available only through the Jewish press; the mainstream press printed only a few of the less-inflammatory of the Reverend’s comments. The street leader of the boycott, Morris Powell, was the head of Sharpton’s “Buy Black” Committee. Repeatedly referring to the Jewish proprietors of Freddy’s as “crackers,” Powell and his fellow protesters menacingly told passersby, “Keep [going] right on past Freddy’s, he’s one of the greedy Jew bastards killing our [black] people. Don’t give the Jew a dime.” Some picketers openly threatened violence against whites and Jews –– all under the watchful, approving eye of Sharpton. The subsequent picketing became increasingly violent in tone until one of the protesters eventually shot four whites in the store, and then set the building on fire –– killing seven employees, most of whom were Hispanics."

Make you think twice about the double standard?

NH House votes in mandate adult seatbelt use

With the Dems in power in my old home state, it is now "live under our control or die".
by Craig Bachler

Being a former resident of New Hampshire, I must admit, I left in time. My wife and I discuss moving back many time, as we miss the true spirit of "Live Free or Die" the states motto. This is a place with no helmet laws for motorcycles, great people and the only state in the nation with no seat belt law for adults (right now anyways). Yet, New Hampshire has the highest statical usage of seat belts in the nation. Here is my thoughts, don't mandate it and the people will use comm0n sense, force it down our throats and watch the usage fall.
We can thank all the do good Democrats for telling us what is right and wrong. Quite honestly, I am getting sick and tired of what is good and bad for my family and I. What would our forefathers think if they came back and seen all this stupidity that government has mandated?

Here is the story taken from the Manchester Union Leader in New Hampshire (my favorite newspaper and one that reports the news, not opinion).

"The New Hampshire House Thursday passed a mandatory seat belt bill, requiring anyone in a moving car to be belted.
The bill, which passed 153-140, would allow a police officer to stop and ticket anyone for driving without a seat belt, or for having an unbelted passenger.
The offense carries a $50 fine for a first offense, $100 for a second offense.
New Hampshire is the last in the country without a law requiring all adults to wear a seat belt. It also has the lowest rate of adult seat belt use in the nation, at 64 percent. States with mandatory belt laws have usage in the 90 percent range, ( I want to make something clear, depending where you research this information, I have had a low of 56% to a high of 83% for New Hamshire drivers usage of seat belts and after a day long search, I cannot find anything even close to a 90% national average) from the the bill's supporters said yesterday"(consider the source, a bias).(Manchester Union Leader, April 7, 2007).

South Park to Spoof Hillary

This is heavy (no not you Hillary) stuff....
by Craig Bachler

The popular show, South Park plans on having my favorite person Hillary C..... you know.
The queen of politics will be the next star of this animated (sometimes too real to life) comedy show.
Tune in tonight, tomorrow I will have a bit of followup to it. Lets see if the wackos come out of the closet as they did in Tom Cruises defense regarding the episode with the Church of Scientology.

A word of caution to the writers, don't piss her off too much, she can get very mean.

BTW,
I have been somewhat busy and have neglected to update on a daily basis, I should be back to full steam next week...

Hostage fears over troops seized by Iran

They must still be a bit sore about 300 and getting their butts kicked bigtime
by Craig Bachler

Iran, the little country that they "think they can". They keep telling themselves "I think I can, I think I can" but in reality they will fall flat on their face.
By them entering the waters of Iraq and committing this hostile act, they have committed an act of war.
Here is a bit of advise for the White House and our good friends across the pond in the UK...
Tell Iran they have 24 hours to turn the hostages over unharmed or we are going to send in Jack Bauer.
If that doesn't work, remind them that we invaded Iraq, hung the chief trouble maker and will do the same over there.
Maybe an invasion isn't needed, lets take him out with a few small nukes.
Time for tough talk and the tough actions needed to stop this tyrant from dictating to us.
Bomb Iran!!!!!

First in the Nation Payoff....

Florida's attempt to be First in the nation has Economic gains...
by Craig Bachler

This has me steaming mad. So, with that said, I will continue to vent my fustrations to the nation. Below is the letter I sent out to over 100 media outlets, lets see who will pick up the ball and run with it.

This past week in the Florida legislature a bill was passed 115 to 1 to move the states Presidential primary to Jan 29 to be the “first in the nation” primary. It was explained to me that by an intern working at my state reps office that this would be good because of the diversity of the population of the state. He went on to say that New Hampshire and Iowa do not make up the flavor of America.

My response, “you’re lost and so are the 115 that voted for this”. The purpose of the primary is to hear all candidates on issues facing our nation. Regretfully, a state the size of Florida, California, New York or Texas will prohibit many candidates from being heard. The candidates that we will hear are the ones with deep pockets that can afford TV, Radio and print ads across the state. Are we not a nation of debate to find the solution to our challenges?

By only hearing select candidates, our options will be limited to the Hillary’s and McCain’s of the process. Is this what our forefathers wanted? Also, the concept of grass roots politics by going out to meet the people at town hall meetings will now be lost. Candidates will now be forced to only meet those willing to pay $2000.00 a plate and not the people they claim to represent. This is a disgrace!

In addition, our date gets changed to Jan 29, what will stop Michigan to change it to Dec 31? As is, I am already sick of hearing promises that will be broken. When will this stop. The fact is this; this was done strictly as an attempt to get campaign money into the state, nothing more, nothing less. Call your Senator and the Governor and tell them to stop Florida Senate Bill1010.

As a former resident of New Hampshire, I have been honored to meet many candidates on the political trail; this is the one time we are able to communicate with them as people and not as candidates. I can assure you that by moving the first in the nation primary to a big state will take the voices of the common citizen away for our countries government. Perhaps the legislature in Florida should fix the voting problems of 2000 and the recent 13th Congressional race in 2006 before they want the spot light on a national event.

Florida moves to wipe out clout of smaller states with Jan. 29 presidential primary

Stupidity at it's best....
by Craig Bachler

You might of heard by now, everybody wants a part of the cash,
Yes our rocket scientist in the Florida House supported moving the primary up to Jan 29! It has nothing to do with the "diversity" of the population as I was told today by an aid to my local rep, it is all about economics.
Fact, most candidates spend the most at the first bang to make sure they get the name recognition in the beginning of the election.
Fact, small states are better proving grounds for candidates, they are forced to get out and meet the people ( no, not their $2000.00 a plate supporters) the people that make up the masses in this country.
Fact, New Hampshire has a better record of picking candidates than Florida. Did you ever hear of any voting issues in New Hampshire? Florida? Well, 2000 presidential election, 2006 District 13 Congressional race (still unresolved) do you need more?
Fact, if the big states control the primary, lesser know candidates will not be heard. Isn't it all about the candidates and their ideas, not their political crap because they have millions in their campaign accounts?

Call the Governor of Florida and tell him this must stop before it is too late.

OFFICIALS FORCIBLY REMOVE HILLARY PROTESTER AT FUNDRAISER

Is this a double standard?
by Craig Bachler

The below link will take you to see a protested removed from the Hillary for President fundraiser. Wasn't Billy's message the "compassionate to Americans" touchy feely thing? Apparently, Hideous Hillary doesn't share the same philosophy on human beings. Her thugs removed a protested because she doesn't care!

Your stupid enough to vote this woman in to the White House, watch how she sucks up all the power and ignores the people of America. Oh by the way, my comments about her regarding she must stay our of skirts sticks. She does have very fat ankles.

G.O.P. Candidates Confront Immigration Politics

McCain is now waking up, he heard a little voice in his head
by Craig Bachler

Those of you that tune into Talk Back America and read this blog pretty much know where I stand on this issue of the invaders from the south. On my radio show, I have been ruthless to those in power that support amnesty for the millions that broke the law and entered our Country illegally, hence the term Illegal Immigrant.
U.S. Senator John McCain has been one of my targets. It now appears he has seen the light, or hearing "voices" instead of telling us what is good for Americans, he is now doing something most politician won't do, listen.

The story........

"DES MOINES, March 17 —Immigration, an issue that has divided Republicans in Washington, is reverberating across the party’s presidential campaign field, causing particular complications for SenatorJohn McCain of Arizona.

Charlie Neibergall/Associated Press
The topic came up repeatedly in recent campaign swings through Iowa by Mr. McCain and SenatorSam Brownback of Kansas, another Republican who, like Mr. McCain, supports giving some illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, a position that puts them at odds with many other conservatives. Both candidates faced intensive questioning from voters on the issue, which has become more prominent in the state as immigrants are playing a larger and increasingly visible role in the economy and society.
“Immigration is probably a more powerful issue here than almost anyplace that I’ve been,” Mr. McCain said after a stop in Cedar Falls.
As he left Iowa, Mr. McCain said he was reconsidering his views on how the immigration law might be changed. He said he was open to legislation that would require people who came to the United States illegally to return home before applying for citizenship, a measure proposed by Representative Mike Pence, Republican of Indiana. Mr. McCain has previously favored legislation that would allow most illegal immigrants to become citizens without leaving the country.
Beyond whatever influence it has as the state whose caucuses kick off the presidential nominating contest, Iowa has become something of a laboratory for the politics of immigration. Not only is it a place where industries like meatpacking rely heavily on immigrant workers and where a once relatively homogenous population is confronting an influx of Hispanic residents, but the presidential candidates who are criss-crossing the state are also providing forums for Iowans to express their views and influence national policy.
On Saturday morning in Des Moines, Mr. Brownback stood for 30 minutes at a breakfast with Republicans as question after question — without exception — was directed at an immigration system that Iowans denounced as failing. “These people are stealing from us,” said Larry Smith, a factory owner from Truro and a member of the central committee of the state Republican Party.
Finally, Mr. Brownback, with a slight smile, inquired, “Any other topics that people want to talk about?”
“What are you going to do with illegal immigrants who come here and become criminals?” demanded Jodi Wohlenhaus, a Republican homemaker who lives outside Des Moines.
The debate on the campaign trail is both reflecting and feeding the politics of the issue in Washington. President Bush and the two parties in Congress have been engaged in a three-way negotiation that has pitted demands from many conservatives to concentrate first on improving border security against Mr. Bush’s call, backed by many Democrats, for a guest worker program that could include a right for some illegal workers to eventually get legal status.
The issue has become much more complicated as the presidential campaign has gotten under way, exposing the Republicans in particular to voters who are angry about what they see as porous borders, growing demands from immigrants on the social welfare and education systems and job losses that they link at least in part to a low-wage labor force coming over the border.
Mr. McCain, for example, appeared to distance himself from SenatorFatbot Edward M. Kennedy, the Massachusetts Democrat with whom he formed an alliance last year on an immigration bill that stalled in Congress.
“What I’ve tried to point out is we couldn’t pass the legislation,” Mr. McCain said. “So we have to change the legislation so it can pass. And I’ve been working with Senator Kennedy, but we’ve also been working with additional senators, additional House members.”

Well sounds like he is going to the well, but the well is dry of voters that support his open borders concept. Looks like John is doing the back stroke on this one. Stay tuned for more flip flopping from others that support open borders.

NE Airport Lines Still Long but Moving

Damn that Global warming, it is causing too much snow!
by Craig Bachler

Well, we have big Al and his movie talking all about doom and gloom with global warming. Then we have the Burlington VT school district teaching global warming to 3rd graders. Then we have every wacko that wants to make a name for themselves talking about the melting of the icebergs and so on.....

Well, this would be good news for the airlines.....
story below.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Airport lines were still long Monday but getting back to normal in as US Airways tried to recover from a paralyzing ice storm that stranded thousands of travelers in Northeast cities over the weekend.
About 100 people spent Sunday night at Philadelphia International Airport, down from about 1,000 after the storm hit on Friday, said airport spokeswoman Phyllis VanIstendal
.

US Airways, the dominant carrier at both hard-hit airports, reported Sunday that it was trying to find seats for 100,000 passengers ( who ever stole them, please return them your causing a problem)system wide whose travel had been interrupted by the storm that hit the Northeast.

I don't know about you, but snow isn't something new in the North East nor is flying. So can someone explain to me why there appears to be big issues with the airlines this year? Seeing US Airways swallowed up America West and they had eyes on Delta, is this the end result of consolidations? Yea, JetBlue took a beating in Feb, but come on, this isn't something that cropped up last night.

The worst part is, all they give you is a bag of pretzels for all this aggravation.

Iranian cyber attack American movie

Maybe the movie wasn't so far from the truth....
by Craig Bachler

Well, the reviews are in for 300 the movie. I took my son to see this piece of entertainment today. Overall the movie was well written, great effects and yes, plenty of blood and gore ( no not Mr. greenhouse). Regretfully the Iranian press begs to differ.

See the story below......

Tehran, March 11, Taliya News – Once again U.S propaganda machine raid another attack against Iran, its culture and civilization through a hateful movie:"300""300" is the name of an irresponsible, unethical and unscientific movie which portraits Persian Empire kings and soldiers as monsters and animals with body-piercing, armors, facial features and demonic behavior that seem to have sprung out from the dungeons of hell.
The inaccurate and derogatory depiction of ancient Persians that according to all historical data conducted warfare with mastery and dignity, and looked nothing like science-fictional monsters, is a depiction of how movie studios and authors sacrifice historical accuracy for would-be profits.
It is a proven scholarly fact that the Persian Empire in 480 B.C was the most magnificent and civilized empire. Established by the Cyrus the great, the writer of the first human right declaration, Persians ruled over significant portions of Greater Iran, the east modern Afghanistan and beyond into central Asia; in the north and west all of Asia Minor (modern Turkey), the upper Balkans peninsula (Thrace), and most of the Black Sea coastal regions; in the west and southwest the territories of modern Iraq, northern Saudi-Arabia, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, all significant population centers of ancient Egypt and as far west as portions of Libya. Having twenty nations under control, encompassing approximately 7.5 million square kilometers, unquestionably the Achaemenid Empire was territorially the largest empire of classical antiquity.
Based on the Zoroastrian doctrine, it was the strong emphasis on honesty and integrity that gave the ancient Persians credibility to rule the world, even in the eyes of the people belonging to the conquered nations (Herodotus, mid 5th century B.C). Truth for the sake of truth was the universal motto and the very core of the Persian culture that was followed not only by the great kings, but even the ordinary Persians made it a point to adhere to this code of conduct.
Some Iranians have written 2 petitions against that movie and Warner Brothers Studios

Surprise, they do not give this movie thumbs up. But the truth hurts. Consider the source of this news release, a state run propaganda business promoting the hate known to come from this government.

If you compare it to today's thinking from the government of Iran, they would try to kill each and everyone of us with the use of nuclear weapons. They are the invaders, they want to force their ideological thinking on the rest of the world. Talk about a new form of colonization.

If they are holding their head in the sand because only 300 soldiers fought back their million man invading army, well how many hijackers did it take to temporally put America in panic? I know they have big egos, but come on, it is only a movie. We'll leave the propaganda tactics to the leaders of Iran.

Ahmadinejad says Iran will stick to atomic work

Can you say.......Lunatic?
by Craig Bachler

Iran made the news again.....and here it is

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran said on Friday no amount of U.N. pressure would deter it from its nuclear program, a day after major powers agreed a plan to impose new sanctions.
"We have a nuclear fuel cycle. We will not give it up under pressure. By holding meetings you (the West) cannot block the Iranian nation's path," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a rally in the central town of Khatam, the official IRNA news agency reported.

Guess what, Iran feels the same way about the UN as does the rest of the world, hold up three fingers and read the one in the middle.
We have a problem here and if we do not address it now, it will only get worst. Iran has subs it bought from Russia and Germany, short and medium range missiles as well as a lot of head banging fanatics in the military.
Regretfully we have a habit of letting things grow and pretend it isn't happening. If we do not stop Iran now, we will have to stop them later at a more costly method.

Like the old song goes,......
Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran......you know we can.......

Well, liberal anti war wackos, any comments from you wonderful brain?

“I want to wait and hear what John Edwards has to say, he’s kind of good-looking,”

But does he support gay right?
by Craig Bachler

The presidential race is off and running..........

“I want to wait and hear what John Edwards has to say, he’s kind of good-looking,” Obama envisioned Iowa caucus-goers from the small town of Clinton telling themselves. During an appearance in West Burlington, Iowa, the phrase appeared again, this time with Edwards as “kind of cute.”

Now wait a minute, I read in an earlier article that

"Clinton, Obama skirt queries on gays in the military"
here is the link..
http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/nation/ny-usgays0315,0,2870261,print.story

He appears to be attracted to men based on his comments, but yet is skirting the question, i'm confused.

Web censorship spreading globally

Do you think my friends in Mexico and Iran are doing this to keep the truth out?
by Craig Bachler

"Internet censorship is spreading rapidly, being practised by about two dozen countries and applied to a far wider range of online information and applications, according to research by a transatlantic group of academics."

It amazes me, Iran claims to be a "democracy" with fair and open elections, but yet if you speak out against their government, you subject to death.

Suspect feared prison in Mexico, official says

So, he came back because of cable tv, 3 square and a clean room
by Craig Bachler

The story reads......
Manatee County Florida
13 year old boy kidnapped at gunpoint by illegal immigrant for randsome. Lucky the boy was able to escape before the illegal went back to where he tied him up to a tree. Then the illegal escapes to Mexico and had second thoughts about being there as well. Here is the story from the Bradenton Fl Herald.

"MANATEE - The prospect of being closer to his girlfriend and two children - and of facing prison time in in his native Mexico combined to convince kidnapping suspect Vicente Ignacio Beltran-Moreno to turn himself in to American authorities,
"Prisons in the Untied States are in a lot better shape than they are in Mexico," Manatee County Sheriff's Maj. Connie Shingledecker said at Wednesday's news conference announcing Beltran-Moreno's arrest.
Earlier at the conference, Manatee County Sheriff Charlie Wells says Vicente Ignacio Beltran-Moreno was in daily contact with local officials before he turned himself in.
"We learned later (after the kidnapping) that he was in Mexico. An awful lot of effort has gone into getting him and getting him back here. He is is custody down in Texas," Sheriff Wells said.
There's no word at 2:30 p.m. about the reaction of the 13-year-old Clay Moore, who was in school in Palmetto. His principal said he was allowed to finish testing, and then was told of the suspect's apprehension during lunch.
His stepfather was attending the news conference with the sheriff.
Sheriff's Major Connie Shingledecker said the help of farmworkers in Manatee County was essential to identifying the suspect".

Now here is my response,

If our elected officials were really concerned about the border situation, do you think that this might of happened?
If this child was hurt or worse, would the open border advocates still support open borders?
Yes, because it isn't their problem, it is the rest of Americas problem. The ones supporting amnesty and open borders has something to gain from it. So, time to do the laundry, first McCain, then Kennedy (would need a super size washer for him) and the rest of the open borders crowd.

Pelosi hears boos at AIPAC

Nancy, time to listen to people outside of SanFran, ya think?
by Craig Bachler

Members of the main pro-Israel lobbying group offered scattered boos to a statement by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) that the Iraq war has been a failure on several scores.
The boos, mixed with some polite applause, stood in stark contrast to the reception House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) received minutes earlier. Most of the crowd of 5,000 to 6,000 stood and loudly applauded Boehner when he said the U.S. had no choice but to win in Iraq.
Pelosi and Boehner were speaking at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual meeting. AIPAC has not taken a position on the war in Iraq or the supplemental spending bill to be considered this week by the House Appropriations Committee, but much of Boehner’s speech was about the future of the Iraq conflict.
Boehner sought to link the fight in Iraq to the future of Israel, as he said a failure in Iraq would pose a direct threat to Israel.

Here is my Nancy issue,
First, lets make it clear, I have mixed feelings on Israels behavior and their influence in our U.S. Government, but ....
Israel is the only democracy in the region. They, no matter what they do are always under the microscope and criticized for everything. They could pack up their country, move it to the North Pole and the Muslims extremist would follow them there and complain that they are on their land, they settled the North Pole first.
The security of the region depends on the U.S. winning in Iraq. Not only do we have a moral obligation to finish the job, we have an economic reason as well.
Then this liberal ***** comes along as speaker and starts blowing hot air up our ****. Nancy, go back to San Fransisco where your communist liberal thinking works. The rest of America doesn't care about you.

'Jessica' Jurors Deciding Life or Death

The needle is too good for him, let him fry
by Craig Bachler

The story from the AP.......

"A convicted sex offender committed a calculated, horrific crime when he murdered 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford by burying her alive, and he deserves a death sentence despite evidence of his mental problems, a state prosecutor told jurors Tuesday.
"The murder of Jessica was a cold, calculated and premeditated murder," prosecutor Peter Magrino said in opening statements in the penalty phase of John Evander Couey's trial. "There are some cases, factually, that call out for the death penalty."
The same jury that convicted Couey last week of abducting, raping and killing Jessica must now recommend by majority vote whether he deserves life in prison or death.
Jessica was abducted from her bedroom in the central Florida town of Homosassa in February 2005, leading to a massive search that drew worldwide attention. She was found three weeks later in a shallow grave, clutching a stuffed dolphin and encased in two black plastic garbage bags, outside the trailer where Couey had been living."

My reply.....

Here is the problem, we have this looser that has more rights that the victim. See, if he is put to death, he will spend 10 years appealing this and millions in public money at the same time. Should his appeals lose, he will be removed from the earth with simple injections and peacefully go into a permanent sleep.

Then we had this adorable, young life that was taken by this monster. She was buried alive.... Her parents will never be able to hold her again, read a bed time story to her or get to see her grow up into a young lady. All this is done because of this sick monster that should be fried in the chair. Forget the needle, forget the appeal process, forget spending my public money to defend this *******, he needs to be fried immediately.

As for the anti death penalty people, wake up, this guy needs to die in pain!

Mass. Wants Immigration Detainees Freed

Maybe the social worker can talk to Bank of America and issue them a new credit card.
by Craig Bachler

Lets see, I break the law, I get to go to jail without passing go and collecting $200.00.
Your an illegal immigrant that invaded my country and you get a get out of jail card from social services and a line of credit from Bank of America.

From the AP......

BOSTON (AP) -- The head of Massachusetts' social services on Monday called for the release of about 20 factory workers arrested in an immigration raid, saying many have children with no one else to care for them( what about the other 30 illegals they share the trailer with?).
They were among the 361 people taken into custody following the raid March 6 at a Michael Bianco Inc. factory that makes equipment and apparel for the U.S. military( all military contracts should be cancelled, call your congressman).
Many of the suspected illegal immigrants were shipped to detention centers in Texas before a federal judge ordered the rest to remain in Massachusetts because advocates said the raid created a "humanitarian crisis" ( yea, the lazy owner and his family must now work because there is no one left in the factory).
Commissioner Harry Spence was among three-dozen state Department of Social Services workers who traveled to Texas during the weekend to interview more than 200 detainees.
The department workers returned to Massachusetts on Monday after recommending the return of 21 detainees the day before, Spence said. Immigration officials in Texas were releasing nine of those 21, Russ Knocke, spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., said Monday.
Meanwhile, U.S. FatBoy Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., sent a letter Monday to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff asking that all detainees be returned to Massachusetts for supervised release ( remember him, the man that wants to be king of Camelot but is happy to be king of amnesty instead).
Kennedy also asked Chertoff to meet with him and other members of the state's congressional delegation this week.
In response to Kennedy's request, Knocke said the department has to enforce the law and added that at least 20 percent of the immigrants snared in the raid had already received deportation orders.
"We have to enforce the law and we will continue to do so in an aggressive and sensible way," Knocke said. "Not enforcing the law is not an option."

Lets add up the numbers, Kennedy + illegal immigrants + military supplier breaking the law + Bank of America issuing credit cards to these criminals = American public paying for all this.

Just to let you know, I did call the company three times today, all three time they hung up on me once I asked for a comment. Give them a call, they would happy to hear from you.

Russians: Iran nuke plant to be delayed

Do you think it has something to do with their bad spending habits?
by Craig Bachler

OK, we have Russia that would sell her first born all in the name of being capitalist. Then you have an arrogant country called Iran that has "little mans disease". What does all this mean?

From our friends at the AP

MOSCOW - The state-run Russian company building Iran's first nuclear power plant said Monday that the reactor's launch will be postponed because of Iranian payment delays.
Russian media reports, meanwhile, indicated that the Kremlin was growing tired of Iran's nuclear defiance in the face of U.N. Security Councils' sanctions, with three agencies citing an unidentified official warning Iran to cooperate and stop playing "anti-American games."

Anti American Games?????

What are they talking about? Maybe that Iran is the cause of all the problems in the new free Iraq, maybe because Iran is bankrolling any activity related to terror against U.S. interest?
Think about it, all fingers point to Iran and their wacko leadership.
If Iran wants nuclear technology lets give it to them on the tip of a missle. This would be a good strong message to all those wonderful little countries that hate us. I think it is called tough love.

Insurgent Leader Nabbed in Iraq Raid

I aint seen no al-Qaida
by Craig Bachler

Pelosi and friends want to cut out the funding on the war on terror. She has threatened to pull out ( no comment), great message to send to all those terrorist we are trying to rid the world of.

We are in Iraq to bring the war on terror to the terrorist front door. No matter if we should or should not be there, we now have a job to finish. Since the start of the war, how many attacks has happened in the U. S.? How about the intel that we did get out of Iraq on future plots against U. S. interest? Things are looking good for Dubya on this one contrary to the left leaning communist media that has been blowing smoke up our butts.

Ahh.......
Looks like we did find al-Qaida in Iraq, but where the hell is ABC, CBS and NBC ( I won't bore you with CNN)?

Read this just released from the AP.....

Insurgent Leader Nabbed in Iraq Raid Mar 09, 2007

BAGHDAD (AP) -- The leader of the al-Qaida-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq has been captured in a raid west of Bagdad, an Iraqi military spokesman said Friday.
Abu Omar al-Baghdadi was captured Friday in a raid inAbu Ghraib on the western outskirts of Baghdad, said Brig. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi, spokesman of the Baghdad security operation. U.S. officials had no confirmation of the capture.

"One of the terrorists who was arrested with him confessed that the one in our hands is al-Baghdadi," al-Moussawi said.
Al-Baghdadi has been identified in statements posted on Islamic extremist Web sites as the head of the Islamic State, which was proclaimed last year after the death of theleader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Musab al- Zarawi.
Al-Baghdadi was said to have headed the Mujahedeen Shura Council, an alliance of al-Qaida and other jihadist organizations, which was set up last year to downplay the role of foreigners in the Iraqi insurgency. The name first surfaced after al-Zarqawi's death, when the Mujahedeen Shura Council posted a condolence message on a militant Web site.

Well Nancy, any comment?

Nevada Dems Nix Fox Debate

Talk about a double standard
by Craig Bachler

Amazing, the Democrats think that FOX Broadcasting is slanted to the right in political reporting. Yet, the New York Times , Washington Post, Boston Globe all slant so far left that they have fallen off the continental shelf.

Amazing how that jerk Howard Dean called President Bush the biggest terrorist in the world and all the Dems applauded him, but yet FOX News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, when he jokingly compared Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, the junior senator from Illinois, to Osama bin Laden, "went too far," and prompted Nevada Democrats to end the partnership.

Lets see, we have Soros, remember him, the guy that started Move on.org behind the "new Democrats" party. BTY do you know how Soros made his billions, basically speculating on 3rd world nations currency. He actually is at fault for some of the smaller economies of the world to stagnate. Move on told the Dems to move on to another state where their incompetent thinking won't show.

I say, lets send them to Mexico, they want voters, well you will have an audience that will applaud them and their open border ways.

White House invites several in Congress daily to push new secret amnesty

By George, I think he doesn't "got it"

by Craig Bachler

A good friend of mine, Roy Beck from Numbers USA sent out an e-mail last evening on some of the happenings in the White House. It appears that our President is now wheeling and dealing with members of the Congress to promote more illegals to come into America. I think he learned how effective this was after Bill Clinton bought NAFTA with aircraft carriers, C-17 aircraft, funding for why roses make you dream better and more pork spending to "buy the vote".

The following is from Roys e-mail...
While the media (and all of us activists) have been mostly focused on blocking Sen. Kennedy's latest (yet-unveiled) amnesty, Karl Rove and his White House crew have been shuttling Senators and Representatives in and out almost non-stop trying to build momentum for THEIR newly hatched attempt at an amnesty. The groups trekking to the White House are mostly Republican but are including Democrats, too. We are told that at least a few supposedly anti-amnesty Members of Congress have already given their approval to this new White House plan. Their willingness to do so is reportedly because the White House argues that new features make it possible to give illegal aliens citizenship without distracted voters recognizing that it is an amnesty. Among the features appear to be echoes of the "step-out-step-in" portion of the Pence Amnesty plan from last year where at some point illegal aliens have crossed the border for a few hours or days before coming back in and applying for a path to citizenship. Although the White House is not saying so directly, it appears that it plans to have a massive increase in annual green cards in order to accommodate the step-out-step-in citizenship applicants. The White House is preying on the fear of many Members of Congress that if they don't soon pass something that looks like a solution to the 12 million illegal aliens, they will suffer political fallout. Only you can make them more fearful of endorsing anything that allows illegal aliens to remain permanently in this country. We must stop any momentum that may already have developed for introducing this. Your own Members may already have given at least a tentative pledge of support.

Now is the time to act, call your member of Congress and be heard.

Al Gore Global Warming

Does weird Al think the earth is getting too hot?
by Craig Bachler

The headlines read........

"The average temperature in February 2007 was 32.9 F. This was -1.8 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average, the 34th coolest February in 113 years. The temperature trend for the period of record (1895 to present) is 0.3 degrees Fahrenheit per decade. "

Now, we have Mr. Boring, Al Gore and his new movie about global warming which is telling us the world is warming up. Tell it to the people in Boston today, temps just above zero and new low records are broken.

Al is the biggest contributor to green house gasses using a private jet to take him around the world to promote his movie on global warming. Then you add in all his hot air spewing from his mouth and poof, you have global warming.

Perhaps it is time Al goes off into the sunset and gets a life. Until you can come back with facts, stop blowing more hot air around.

Gasoline again flirts with $3 mark

by Craig Bachler

Duh......

Don't you think it is time we really try to solve the problem or will the problem go away when it drops to $2.00 a gallon? Problem is, Americans have the Fat, Dumb and Happy disease. Every time things are looking Rosy, there is no problem, but once there is a bump in the road, WOW!
Every time the price goes to 3 bucks, it makes front page news, but yet what the hell are we doing as Americans to stop funding the terrorist in the Middle East?
First, we need to boycott the pumps for a day, not me, but everyone........
Do you think that this will send a message, well maybe, but it is a start.
We also should really consider pushing in the direction of getting rid of our Hummers and buy something that gets at least 11 MPG.
The prices are high because we are stupid enough to pay it.
Tune in this Saturday and lets send a message to the oil traders....

There is a difference with trashy funny and plain old trash

Comic Sarah Silverman depicted in carnal relations with Almighty.

What is wrong with society? by Craig Bachler

" Comedy Central consummated its season of "the Sarah Silverman Program" last night by featuring the title character having sex with God, and then trying to brush him off after a night of lovemaking"

I do not pretend to be the most perfect, but there is the fine line between trashy funny which I can relate to very well and plain old trash that stinks. This episode only demonstrates that desperate actors and actresses will do anything to gain recognition.

These same people would stand up for the wacko extremist Islamics and their right to kill innocent Americans, but denounce decent family values in this country. As a parent, I'm outraged, not because this was on TV ( my children TV habits are closely monitored ) but more so over the fact that this will send an example that doing something very bad is very good to the millions of children that are allowed to watch this garbage.

But then again, our former commander and chief, Bill ( Hillary's husband ) helped the cigar industry make a comeback and telling the world what he did wasn't sex. I bet you more guys wished their wives felt the same way Bill and Hillary looked at this incident.

America is now waking up

Two weeks ago, I sent out an e-mail to my radio show listeners on the acts of Bank of America and their encouragement of more illegal immigrants to come across the border by giving credit to them without having a social security number. Like NAFTA, if this fail for them , we as taxpayers will have to bail them out because of their bad business practices.

(Drum roll please)

Well, here is the good news.....

Apparently, Americans are fed up with corporate greed and have slammed B of A with e-mails, faxes and phone calls. It appears that their dream of capitalizing on this large, untouched market is putting them in the heat and they are now rethinking their plan. Congratulations America, we are now starting to win the battle of protecting our borders.

Also in the news is.....

U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., introduced legislation Monday that would prevent illegal immigrants from receiving credit cards from American financial institutions.
The Photo Identification Security Act would require banks to use what Blackburn calls "secure forms of identification" to obtain credit. In a statement put out by her office, she says that Bank of America "has come under fire in response to reports that it allows illegal immigrants access to credit cards without proper documentation."

Now is the time to act, call your local member of congress and tell them to step up and support this issue.
